Submerged Vehicles
About the Map
This collaborative map allows you to submit known and speculated submerged vehicles. Entries may come from a variety of sources, including sonar searches, divers, law enforcement, historical records, satellite imagery, and members of the public.
Not every vehicle has been independently confirmed. If a vehicle may be connected to an active missing-person case, please also contact the appropriate law enforcement agency. This map is not a substitute for an official investigation.
What to Submit
Please provide as much supporting information as possible, including:
> Source(s) of the information
> Approximate date of discovery or visibility
> Vehicle description
> Photos or screenshots if available
The more information you can provide, the easier it is to evaluate the submission.
Before It Appears on the Map
All submissions are reviewed before being added to the public map. Submitting information does not guarantee publication.
MaptheMissing may edit, remove, or decline submissions when information cannot be sufficiently supported or does not fit the purpose of the map.
Officially recovered vehicles are normally removed, unless they are visible in Google imagery; these may be kept as reference points so future reports can be checked against known recoveries.
